Some great news for local farmers as Agriculture Minister, Edwin Poots MLA annouces the opening of a £21.4m Covid-19 Support Scheme.
This is the most comprehensive and extensive package in the UK and EU and we are delighted for our clients who fall into this category, well deserved support for our local farming community!
Who is Eligible?
Farm businesses in the dairy, beef and sheep sectors will be able to apply for the support package by completing a short application which has been available on DAERA online services since Monday 7th September and will remain online until Wednesday 23rd September 2020, a short window so if you are eligible get online as soon as you can.
Eligible farm businesses will receive payments if they are the qualifying keeper of eligible animals presented for slaughter and or sold milk during the qualifying periods.
